Job Training

Employers want employees who possess basic skills; who are motivated and dependable.

Life Skills Training

A special class for those who are interested in working on their decision making skills. It’s all about making the right choices.

Work Experience

This is a placement with a public agency or private, non-profit corporation designed to allow you to learn on the job, get valuable work experiences, and earn wages. For those who have little or no work history, or for those who have been out of the job market for a long time (displaced homemakers), successful and recent work experience is valuable in finding a regular job.

Occupational Training
(Short and Long-Term)

For those who qualify, this is specific occupational training in the classroom, and/or on the job. Based on an employment plan, you might be eligible to be trained for anything from Certified Nursing Assistant to Civil Engineer. The following is just a sample of some of the occupations UT&E participants have trained and qualified for: Emergency Medical Technician, Heavy Equipment Operator, Digital Systems Technology, Long Haul Truck Driver, Dental Hygienist, Graphic Design, Nursing, Respiratory Therapy, Automotive Technology.
