Layoffs
Are you having to lay anyone off? UT&E offers lots of help to you and your laid-off workers.
We have years of experience helping companies and their laid-off or soon-to-be-laid-off workers. But time is an important factor in many ways.
Call Mary at 541-677-1622 or Stephe at 541-677-1623 to get a Layoff Rapid Response team working to minimize the negative impacts of layoffs on both your company and your employees. You can also contact other WorkSource Douglas partners for information and assistance.
Subsidized Training
There are programs available to help train new hires, retrain existing staff and even pay for work-experience/temporary employees.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Work Experience training is generally in the public sector and designed to help workers enter or reenter the job market. If you need extra help and you're willing to train, we can pay up to 100% of the wages, hourly assessment of workers' compensation and FICA of any work-experience participant we place at your company. ON-THE-JOB TRAINING
On-the-Job Training (OJT) is usually in the private sector. You can be reimbursed for up to 50% of the costs of training for a regular job with your company. These services do have some conditions.
