Your Introduction to UT&E

Your Introduction to UT&EDuring this one day class, you'll receive a complete introduction to the services available at UT&E. We'll thoroughly assess the level of your reading, math and problem solving skills and help you learn more about your aptitudes, interests and values.  In addition, you'll be on your way toward earning a National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC)! You'll be given information on the next steps in the process, including job search and vocational training options that may be available to you. If you decide to go ahead, you'll receive a training information packet and scholarship application form.

Once you've completed and returned your scholarship application, you'll meet with a Workforce Specialist who will review your skills and experience, and help you to create an employment plan as well as develop a budget and survival plan to get you through the period of your job search.
